1. Here is an image of the breadboard

2. Build and test the circuit
   
   
   1. Free form solder the parts together:
      
      
      

      1. Solder two wires to the speaker
         
         
         

         ---

      2. Turn the IC on its back and carefully bend the legs out:
         
         
         

         ---

      3. Gently fold legs 2 and 6 towards each other
         
         
         

         ---

      4. Using bare bus or stripped wire connect 2 and 6 together
         
         
         

         ---

      5. Clip extra wire
         
         
         

         ---

      6. Attach the 680pF capacitor to pins 1 and 2
         
         
         

         ---

      7. Clip extra wires
         
         
         

         ---

      8. Connect black wires from pins 1 and 2. Pin 1 will go to GND, pin 2 is the noise wire
         
         
         

         ---

      9. Trim the electrolytic capacitor
         
         
         

         ---

      10. Attach the positive lead to pin 3
          
          
          
          
          

          ---

      11. Connect the GND lead to the + lead of your speaker and connect a black wire from pin 1 to the the GND lead of the speaker.
          
          
          

          ---

      12. Fold the resistor like this
          
          
          

          ---

      13. Using the resistor, connect pins 7 to 8
          
          
          

          ---

      14. Connect a red wire to pin 8
          
          
          

          ---

      15. Connect another red wire to pin 7. This is the noise wire
          
          
          

          ---

      16. Fold the 1µF capacitor over the IC and solder 1 lead to pin 5.
          
          
          
          
          

          ---

      17. Solder the other lead to pin 1
          
          
          

          ---

      18. Connect your GND wires to the GND terminal of your battery holder
          
          
          

          ---

      19. Connect a red wire to the positive lead of your battery holder
          
          
          

          ---

      20. Connect the other end of the red wire to a snap
          
          
          

          ---

      21. Connect the other end of the red wire attached to pin 8 to the other side of the snap
          
          
          

          ---

      22. Test, then hot glue the circuit

   2. Build the enclosure
      
      
      
      
      

      1. Make a template
         
         
         

         ---

      2. Cut holes in ONE piece of felt
         
         
         

         ---

      3. Cut 4 circles of conductive fabric and iron them over the holes
         
         
         
         
         

         ---

      4. Make loops with the needle nose pliers
         
         
         

         ---

      5. Sew the circles together
         
         
         

         ---

      6. Decorate with conductive thread
         
         
         

         ---

      7. Place the hot glued circuit on the felt
         
         
         

         ---

      8. Add eyes
         
         
         

         ---

      9. Sew and Stuff.
         

      ---
