/ / Instructions

1. Draw shape of doll on paper

2. Cut out template

3. Cut out your shape in fabric
   
   
   

   ---

4. Cut out another shape in fabric. One will be the front, the other the back.
   
   
   

   ---

5. Stick led leads through front head.Put both anode leads in the center.
   
   
   

   ---

6. Fold leads down.
   
   
   

   ---

7. Turn leads in spirals, but make sure a needle can fit through the center.
   
   
   

   ---

8. Place a conductive fabric heart on the inside of the front chest
   
   
   

   ---

9. Peel off paper and iron on
   
   
   

   ---

10. Use a piece of conductive fabric to connect the pieces of fabric at the top of the head

11. Using conductive thread, sew the heart to the two center leads of the leds (anodes)
    
    
    

    ---

12. Attach the battery holder on the back side. It should be in the same place as the heart if the doll was folded over.

13. Sew the ground lead of the battery holder to the top of the head and then to the other leads of the leds (cathodes)

14. Place a battery in the holder

15. Cover the circuit with felt or fabric
    
    
    

    ---

16. Turn the doll over so that you can see the eyes. Place a felt heart on the outside over where the fabric heart is in the inside

17. Sew and stuff
    
    
    
    

    ---

18. Stick a needle through the heart-you'll connect the anode leads of the leds to power of the battery through the needle.
